I came to Ramsey Subaru after shopping around at a few of other dealerships in the area.. and after being mistreated at some (Bill Kolb is one of the worst dealerships I’ve been to) and just not finding anything good in the other’s inventory’s, I was happy I came across Ramsey Subaru. This dealership has not only the best selection of Subarus (New and used!), but the best sales associates to help you pick out the perfect car for you. When I walked in, I was quickly greeted by a very friendly associate named Cory, who after only a few minutes into conversation with, I felt very confident with. We took the Legacy out for a nice test drive, and after we got back, Cory went over all the features & options in the car.

Much to my suprise, Subaru’s come with a lot of great features I didn’t even expect them to offer, such as Bluetooth, or an Auxiliary input for my iPod!! After I narrowed down what I wanted, Cory advised me as to what package I should get, and then came the hard part; Picking a color! Thank goodness Ramsey Subaru has such a huge inventory, I was able to pick out the color I wanted without having to settle! Got to love getting things your way! After some quick and calculated negotiating, Cory and I had agreed upon the price, and the next thing you know, I was signing paper work with Jerry (who is also wondefully nice! not the typical Sleazy finance guy you’re thinking of!) for a car and I got to drive it home the same day!! Incredible Ramsey Subaru! A++++ I will be back for my next one, and in the mean time, I’m sending everyone I know who’s looking for a Subaru to The best Subaru Dealer around; RAMSEY SUBARU!!

Great location and friendly atmosphereFebruary 5th, 2011

There’s no Subaru Dealership quite like Ramsey Subaru. What I like ultimately about Ramsey Subaru is their great location and friendly atmosphere. Also their advertisements compared to other Subaru Dealerships is much more better. I have been a customer at Feder’s Subaru in Orange County in New York and just recently a customer at Bill Kolb, Jr. Subaru in Rockland County in New York as well. Bar none Ramsey Subaru is the best. Especially, their selection of cars is unmatched. Back in 2007, I was interested in the new 2007 Subaru Legacy GT Spec B model that year. The only Subaru Dealership that had numerous Spec B’s, including 2006 models was Ramsey Subaru. In which, on one hot summer’s day I made a trip to Ramsey Subaru. Because its location is so easy to get to and I searched the parking lot that day and found four Spec B’s.

Ramsey Subaru staff is top notch too. The friendliness, courtesy, professionalism, trustworthiness, cleanliness and knowledge in which my Sales Consultant Mr. Clayton “Kyle” Mantell totally exemplified was great. Clayton was awesome. The way he presented himself and how he informed me about the Subaru model,I wanted by giving me brochures was great. Even Jerry the Finance Consultant was great that magical day when, I became a proud owner of my new 2011 Subaru. Jerry was extremely informative and made me feel at home. Now I know why Ramsey Subaru’s slogan is “Just to let you know, we’re with you for the long haul…”. That’s why Ramsey Subaru is ahead of all other Subaru Dealerships around. Ramsey Subaru is at the top of its class and is winning the race in AWD.

Very friendly staffJanuary 16th, 2011

Walking into Ramsey Subaru I saw a very friendly staff. I already knew what car I wanted from looking online so I took a look around it in person for the first time. The car looked great, I was then greeted by Alex who was very helpful with the purchase of the vehicle (2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i). Everything went so smoothly with the paperwork. I will definitely be returning to this dealership for my next car.

Very friendly, knowledgeable, and honestJanuary 14th, 2011

Because my husband and I visited a few other car dealerships in our search for an affordable, family friendly, compact SUV, and had not so great experiences, our expectations were not high when we entered Ramsey Subaru. We were quickly and pleasantly surprised, however, upon meeting Chris Wallin, who immediately presented as very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. We ended up purchasing a beautiful 2007 Forester from Chris that we absolutely love, and Chris helped to make the entire process expedient, understandable, and exciting (this was our first car purchase). We will definitely be returning to Ramsey Subaru for any future car purchases, and we highly recommend Chris and the rest of the Ramsey team….all of whom seemed very nice and forthcoming.

Amazing customer service from ChrisJanuary 13th, 2011

I had a wonderful experience at Ramsey Subaru. Prior to going to Ramsey Subaru my husband and I went to Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru and received the run around the entire time they were not up front with anything. The manager flat out lied to our faces. Upon, arriving at Ramsey Subaru, I was very hesitate about making a car purchase anywhere. That was all gone, when I walked in and had amazing customer service from Chris. The whole process went smoothly from test driving the car to sitting with Jerry to do the financing. We told the salesperson about out experience at Bill Kolb, and he did everything to make us feel comfortable. And the manager(Josh) came over to thank us for our business. I would definitely be returning to Ramsey Subaru when it is time for a new car.

Very cordial, kind and courteousJanuary 7th, 2011

Clayton was the best salesman I could have asked for. I went into the dealership the day after a big snowstorm, and he and his co-workers were busy shoveling out all of the cars in the lot. I was a little worried that they would be so frustrated and exhausted from the day’s work that they wouldn’t want to deal with customers, but I was wrong. Clayton came over to us and was very cordial, kind and courteous. He did not put any pressure on us to buy, didn’t pull any “salesman” lines, and was honest and straightforward with me right from the get go. My husband and I felt very good about him and about the dealership in general by the time we were done with the test drive. We liked the car, so we put down our down payment. Honestly, I was not expecting to go in and purchase the car that day, but the experience with Clayton was pretty much what made me want to do business with them. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a Subaru.

Customer service is outstandingDecember 10th, 2010

I just purchased a 2011 Subaru Forester 2.5X Premium with the All-Weather Package. I have to say, the customer service is outstanding. I’ve never been a fan of the “new car buying experience” due to the haggling and pressure normally put on me by the sales person to “”buy now”". At Ramsey Subaru, there was zero pressure from everyone I dealt with. Shane and Josh (the general sales manager) were very easy to deal with. I spent a few days emailing back and forth with Josh and his responses were always extremely quick and professional. I worked with Shane to close the deal and he was fantastic. I paid a great price for my new car. Ramsey definitely has the best prices in North Jersey and possibly the entire tri-state area. Overall, my experience was very positive. I highly recommend this dealership.

Best car buying experience I’ve ever had! I never felt any pressure here and the entire staff were so friendly and made me feel at ease. Cars to me are like family and treat them as such. I was hesitant to purchase a new/used one, but after the test drive and talking to Cory it was a no-brainer. Will definitely recommend to others as well as continue business with them.

The dealer was a no hassle experience, second best car buying experience that I have ever had. Shane the salesman was not pushy and did the best he could for me in pricing and delivery. The Service Manager, Mr. Soto was excellent took as much time with me as necessary to explain and demontrate some of the optional functions that I had a hard time with eg. bluetooth, Sirius radio etc. Good experience all around.

My Husband had a bad experience trying to get a 2011 WRX at another dealer.They really jerked him around and were rude. My Husband called Ramsey Subaru and they were AMAZING from the get go. The Josh, Clayton, Shane and Jerry were OUTSTANDING to work with! We love cars and get a new one at least every 2 yrs. My Husband used to sell cars so we are always a bit skeptical when walking into a dealership. This was one of our best car buying experiences ever. We will buy many cars from them.

I dealt with Shane Chiuchiolo who was very informative and personable. I advised him I was interested in an Impreza, preferably a 2010, for my daughter who is attending college at SUNY Buffalo. Good experience at Ramsey SubaruAugust 15th, 2010

I had and overall good experience at Ramsey Subaru. We worked with Clayton who got us they car we wanted at the price we wanted. I never felt pressured. Before finalizing the deal at Ramsey I checked out Bill Kolb Subaru in Rockland (my 2 previous Subarus were leased from them). I had never had a problem there. We spoke to a salesman, test drove a car and negotiated a price. We asked several times for the best possible price/deal. We were told we had it. Also, they did not have the car/color I wanted. They told me it would take up to 10 days to get it… my lease was up in 2 days. So, we said we would think about it and call or come back later. We went to Ramsey and they matched Bill Kolb’s “best deal” and added free oil changes. Later that afternoon, Bill Kolb’s sales man called my cell, my home and emailed me. I emailed him back and apologized that we could not do business, but another dealer gave me the price I wanted and had the car I wanted on site and this dealer was much closer and convenient to may home. The next night, around dinner time, Bill Kolb called again and began to harass and interrogate me about why I didn’t make a deal with them. The manager got on the phone and said if I hadn’t picked up the car from Ramsey then I didn’t really have a deal. He also said, “what if I give you their price and a check for $1000?” So, now Bill Kolb is trying to bribe me. I said if you could have done such a better deal, you should have done it before I walked out your door, not after the fact.

Excellent ServiceMay 28th, 2010

I recently had some problems with my Outback and they took such good care of me. They put me in a really nice loaner car, so it didn’t bother me much that I didn’t even have my car for a few days. They were professional and sympathetic to my situation. I have over 100k miles on my car, so I get it, these things happen. I just went back today to get simply a headlight bulb replaced, they of course remembered me, and they even went as far as to wash my car! What a way to take care of your customers! P.S. I did also buy my car from them. Love the sales staff who are young and energetic and steered me into the right car that fit my needs.
